Deena Pierott is the President of Mosaic Blueprint, a global executive search and job board specializing in diversity candidates. But she is so much more than that – she is an EVOLUTIONARY!
She organizes panel discussions for women on issues around workplace interactions between women of color and caucasion women in the workplace, which I have personally participated in – and they are ground breaking! United Way depends on her to rally women to this cause. And this is just one example of the people who depend on Deena Pierott to change the world!
She does so many amazing things, but the reason I am nominating her this year is for her work with urban teens to excel in IT professions. Ms. Pierott launched her iUrban Teen event on the campus of WSU last Saturday with over 100 students attending and the best of Washington state’s IT Titans on the roster as presenters. What more do you need to inspire our youth? Check out the video at http://www.iurbantech.com. you will be inspired!
This event has spread like wildfire – everyone wants a piece of Deena now! Brazil, California, they are lining up for a similar experience to offer their teens – for they know the youth are our future!
